Tap and Denise Hornor got married in 1978 and have three sons and eleven grandchildren. They have been actively involved in ministry since 1996 under MGM International, dedicating their lives to planting churches and spreading the Gospel in Sinaloa, Mexico.

In 1997, Tap founded Iglesia Bautista Betel in Alhuey, Sinaloa, where he served as pastor until 2018. Over the years, he also planted two other churches—one in Guasave and another in Tamazula—and assisted with yet another church plant in Guamúchil. Following these efforts, Tap served as interim pastor at Iglesia Bautista Horeb in Navolato until 2022. Since then, Tap and Denise have returned to Alhuey to support their son Brian, who is now the pastor of the church.

Additionally, Tap initiated the Redemptive Use of the Internet ministry, mentoring national pastors in India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Myanmar (formerly Burma). This growing online ministry reaches countless individuals with the Gospel via faithful national pastors and evangelists.
